This document outlines the AvalAI Privacy Policy for all our services, including the chat platform and developer APIs. At AvalAI, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information.
Information Collection
We may collect your personal information when you use our services. This information may include your name, email address, phone number, account information, and any other information you provide to us.
Use of Information
We use your personal information to provide and improve our services. This may include communicating with you, responding to support requests, updating services, and providing information and offers related to our services.
Additionally, your information and conversations with the AI assistant will only be used to improve and address weaknesses in the language model if the "Help improve model" option in your account settings is enabled. This option is disabled by default. It should be noted that this information will not be shared with any third party, including business partners and service providers. You can manage the status of this option in your account settings, under the "Data" section.
In the process of processing your personal information, we will use interactive information generated with AI language models only for the purpose of improving and fixing model deficiencies in an anonymous manner, and your privacy will be maintained in this process. It should be noted that your identifying information will be removed in this process, and we will not use your information for any advertising or marketing purposes. This process is only performed if the "Help improve model" option is enabled.
We will not exploit any files uploaded by you. You are responsible for observing safety standards when uploading files and are prohibited from uploading sensitive and confidential files.
API Privacy Protection: We do not process or exploit any user data from API calls made through our developer platform (API) and API endpoints. This includes no collection, storage, or use of any content from the API call body, such as prompts, inputs, messages, audio, or images. We only store API call history (such as model name and IP address) for pricing calculations and the safety and security of user APIs, not for collecting private user data!

Information Retention
We reserve the right to use information for the purpose of improving and developing the language model, while maintaining privacy, for up to 30 days after you delete the information (excluding uploaded files). Files uploaded by you are deleted immediately upon your request.
Information Sharing
We share your personal information only when we have the right or permission to do so. This may include affiliates, business partners, and third-party service providers.
Security
To protect your privacy at AvalAI, we use appropriate security technologies and management procedures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
All sensitive information, including exchanged conversations, is stored encrypted in the database.
Files uploaded by you are stored encrypted (SHA256).
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information.
You have the right to delete your account.

Cookies and Documentation Privacy Choices
The documentation site uses first-party browser storage for essential operation and user-selected preferences, including your privacy choice, theme, reading size, code display, search, navigation, release refresh safety, and short-lived caches. These essential settings do not load Google Analytics and cannot be disabled through the privacy control because the site relies on them to remember your choice and provide requested functionality.
The documentation privacy control offers these cumulative levels. No optional level is preselected:
- Essentials: first-party site operation and local preferences only. No Google Analytics request and no optional live third-party model-data request.
- Performance: Essentials plus Google Analytics 4, measurement ID
G-4FRNQNQFBQ, to measure event-based page views and basic documentation performance. Events may include the page URL and route, page title, documentation language, and basic device or performance information. We disable automatic page views and send one explicit page-view event for the initial document and each completed in-app navigation. - Full features: Performance plus optional live OpenRouter model-data refreshes on supported model pages. OpenRouter may receive your IP address and ordinary request metadata. Reviewed static model information remains available without this level.
Google Consent Mode v2 starts with analytics storage denied. The Google tag is not loaded until you select Performance or Full features, and local development does not contact Google. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals remain denied at every level; this integration is not used for advertising.
Your versioned choice is stored in localStorage until you change it or clear site data. Where analytics storage is granted, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies according to Google's current retention and processing terms. Selecting Essentials later sends a denied consent update and attempts to remove those analytics cookies. You can reopen Privacy settings from the persistent control at the bottom of any documentation page; withdrawing consent is as easy as granting it.
This documentation choice applies only to the documentation hosts. Account, login, and chat-platform cookies are governed by the controls and operational requirements of those services.
Embedded Content from Other Sites
Articles and posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We commit to notifying you of any significant changes to the privacy policy.
